About The Hairdressers

Salon History

In 2021, after undergoing brain surgery to remove a benign tumor and taking an eight-month break from work, I returned to a large salon environment. It became clear that I needed to make some adjustments. After more than 20 years in the hair industry, I decided to become an independent stylist in 2023. I now work out of Refuge Salon, a beautiful boutique space owned by a dear friend. My clients and I love the new space, which allows me the freedom to experiment with the latest products and techniques, sharing only the best with my clients.

Mission and Vision

Continuing education is a priority for me. Hair care technology advances quickly, with styles and trends changing as rapidly as in fashion. I take multiple classes each year to stay updated and bring the latest knowledge back into the salon. As someone with curly hair, I understand the importance of learning to care for and love your natural hair, and I enjoy teaching my clients to do the same.
